Harbour Houses

With yesterday being so unexpectedly summer like, allowing us to to sit in the outside conservatory with a glass of wine at 5pm, (ok, we did keep our coats on), we thought maybe our luck would have changed today, but no, the sun was up in a clear blue sky.

However the wind had returned with a vengeance and it was a trifle nippy as I strode forth with my camera and sketch book, not in my nightie this morning, but capped and gloved to capture the houses at the harbour at Sandend.

Later we drove to Portsoy and a walk along the west braes, the wind in our faces, but with a clear view over a beautifully blue Moray Firth, remarkably free of wind whipped white horses today.
