Going for coffee at Te Mahia.

Went across the bay this morning to met up with a friend & 2 of her friends who are visiting her in Renwick. She says the coffee at Te Mahia is the best she has had since coming from Auckland 3 years ago. (maybe I have mentioned this before!) She was taking them up to see the DOC (Department of Conservation) camp site at the Kenepuru Heads, in case they wanted to go their with their 25 foot caravan.
Yesterday, was a 'fix it' day. The people who look after the telephone wires come in and fixed the wiring going into our house. A bad join was causing all the problems with our phones. Been really bad since last last week, but I only got around to ringing them about it on Saturday, as I was hoping it would come right - ha!!
Then the broadband, came back on-line. Got an email this afternoon, saying that the solar panel that charges the batteries was no good and a temporary one was in place, until they could replace it with a more powerful one.
