Cut sapphires.

These are the four best and biggest sapphires that we have found when digging for them over in the Central Queensland Gemfields. They came from 3 stones that we found. They are all different shades of green.
This are what we dug up;9th August 2013. Explanation of what we found & what they cut; The stone on the top is what cut the stone top left at 2.89 carats, the big stone which was 31 carats cut the 2 stones at the bottom, left of 1.83 & 3.47 carats, and the best stone was the one at the bottom which cut 2.52 carats.
Todays blip show the cut stones, but I lit them with a torch as the sun wasn't shinning, so the colour isn't very good.
Top; 2.89 carat & then THE BEST EVER!! stone 2.52 carat because of it's colour etc. The chap who cut them, made the comment, "they don't come any better than this." Bottom; 1.83 & 3.47 carats which came out of the same stone.
Hope all this makes sense. Hard to explain.
Spend the day doing work, then after, that took the dogs for a 4.30km walk, and just after we got home they did a runner. Still not home, not impressed, but hopefully will arrive home soon.
