Looking over Seatown, Cullen

There was another nightie moment this morning when I felt the urge to photograph the snow lying on the car roof and on the hill above the village before the sun melted it.

I need not have risked a personal permafreeze, as the sun soon gave way to a morning of heavy sleet showers borne on a wind that produced thundering waves on the beach and froze any uncovered extremities.
We hid in a café in Cullen to drink hot chocolate and read the papers until the sleet passed and a watery sun appeared, but it was a full frontal icy wind that greeted us as we walked to the Seatown end of the village to get this blip in the bag.

The only person that looked happy with the weather this morning was the surfer riding the waves in the bay.
