C is for ...

.... cearc, or chook. I've been into Ballydehob to be a lady that lunches. I met Hannah and Margaret, ex-colleagues, in Budds and the chat was mighty. The food wasn't bad either. Ballydehob is full of old shops and pubs, now disused but still interesting. A fine mural is quietly fading away on the old butcher's shop - a chicken, pig, bull and lamb finely illustrated along with their intial letter in a swirling Celtic hand. The wind has dropped but the mizzle is rife so this is the most colour to be had today! It's quite Easterish too I thought.

Don't forget Derelict Thursday tomorrow, the last hosted one for a while, so I'm looking forward to tons of decrepitude.
