Spring Beauty

This Scilla Siberica 'Spring Beauty' is growing by the back door and every year I forget it's there and then as it's getting dark, it seems to leap out at me and say 'Hello, I'm here again'.  
I met a very nice German lady today, who very kindly donated a beautiful blue settee to my Daughter (the one who's moved house). It was 8' long, so I had to drive with it sticking out of the back of the car and tie the boot down. It is so comfortable, I think I may have to visit more often. 

Thank you for the good wishes for the wee doggie yesterday. I've been told this evening that he's now home with his family. He's still got some healing to do but getting home to the people that love him, will be the best tonic in the world :))
