Parfum de Hyacinth

This is the strongest smelling hyacinth I've ever smelt. There are three of them in my kitchen and when you first open the door in the morning, it bowls you over. 
I've managed to clear the dining room today of all the clutter that's been hanging around since decorating at my Daughter's. It always accumulates there, as it's the nearest exit to the shed, where the DIY paraphernalia is kept. 
Fingers crossed but tomorrow we have friends coming for dinner and the idea of trying to hold sensible conversation over rollers, tins of paint and grab adhesive just didn't appeal.
