Easter night out

After work, met up with Dan, Tom and Lucy at Portofinos on Dene Street. Its a lovely Italian restaurant housed inside a beautifully tiled old building which used to be a bank many years ago. We meant to have a quick bite to eat bit were so busy chatting that we worked our way through 3 courses over 2 hours! I woke up today with a sore throat and hoarse voice but soon forgot about it :)

After our Italian we went out for some cocktails in Revolution (also inside a beautiful old bank building, worth visiting just to admire the architecture!) then Tokyo and finally The Old George. I'd never heard of the Old George before (its hidden down a side alley off the Bigg market) but it was a lovely old pub. I noticed the nice outside courtyard with fairy lights above, which I would like to visit when the weather is a bit warmer. Hopefully we'll be starting to get some warmer days soon.....
