BEAUTIFUL HYACINTHS

We decided to catch the bus to Christchurch this morning and on the way, as well as all the trees bursting with buds and new leaves, we saw a garden with lots of hyacinths in various shades of pink, blue and even purple.  We thought this was quite unusual until we saw that the flower beds all around Christchurch were full of them too - they obviously do very well down here.

The perfume was  wonderful and it just seemed right to show them as if they were in a perfume bottle.

This may well be our last stay in Boscombe for a while, so we were pleased when we came back in to meet up with Val and Martyn, a Christian couple we met last year.  I had only said to Mr. HCB when we went out earlier that we hadn't seen them for a while, so it was good to catch up with them again - another "God-incidence".

So now we wait for Easter Day - not as terrified and distraught as the disciples were though, because we know what happened!

Our Lord has written the promise
of the resurrection,
not in books alone,
but in every leaf in spring-time.
