MONO MONDAY - OFF TOPIC - & DERELICT SUNDAY

Although the morning dawned dull and grey, we weren't really that bothered because after a hearty breakfast we left to meet our friends we hadn't seen for about ten years so were excited to catch up with them.

After a trip round the Wensleydale Cheese Centre it was back to the car so we could go into Hawes for lunch. However it was not to be! Sadly, Mr. HCB had left the lights on and we had a flat battery. Honda Assistance were with us after about an hour but we all decided by then it might be better for us to carry on back to the farm to give the car a good run - so we arranged to go over to see them in their home tomorrow after a Blipmeet near Scotch Corner.

So, on a day that was still dull and grey, we set off back, deciding to look for signs of dereliction, and we found plenty.

Here is the best one - so for Mono Monday, completely off topic - and Derelict Sunday, here is my offering of a derelict shepherd's cottage on the bleak North Yorkshire Moors.

Apologies for not commenting - it's difficult enough to get a Blip online each day but thank you for your kind comments and stars.

beautiful things
in humble places
where other people see
nothing.
