Today's the day ..................... for an acid lover

One of the (very few) disadvantages of having limestone not very far away is that acid-loving plants struggle to grow in the garden.

This camellia is an acid lover but was here in the garden when we came.  I've no idea what whoever planted it originally did to persuade it to grow, but it actually does quite well.  And occasionally, like this year, it is covered in beautiful blooms like this one ..........................
