Easter at Shaldon

This morning we had eggs ... and bacon, sausage, beans and all the rest. We met up with Phoebe, Paul and the kids at the Clipper Cafe in Shaldon and had a wonderful breakfast overlooking the Teignmouth Approaches with all the seagoing activity. It was a lovely morning with some super sunshine coming through breaks in the clouds. In my blip of the Lucette Beacon it looks a bit overcast but we'd probably had the best of the day by then.

Lady Marian and I left the car on the Teignmouth side and walked across Shaldon bridge enjoying the view. After breakfast we all walked through the smugglers tunnel down to Ness Beach where Oscar and I did some civil engineering work moving sand to divert the stream that runs out of the cliff edge. All in all a very nice morning.

I hope yours was too.
