Cresswell Crags

We strayed across the border into Derbyshire this morning to visit Cresswell Crags. The cliffs in the ravine contain several caves that were occupied during the last ice age, which it seems, was quite a long time ago. They have old photos of woolly mammoths wandering around the place but I didn't see any.

We didn't bother with the tour, we just had a walk around the gorge and a bite to eat in the cafe. I didn't really know which image to post but there are some more pics here.
