The avocados down here could feed a small family. And they're soooo delicious. I've been really getting into a type of pasta salad my sister introduced me to- pasta (cold), avocado, grape or cherry tomatoes, onions or green onions, olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt, pepper, and maybe some corn. It's pretty tasty.

We DO have avocados in the US, it's true. But they're the size of the pits/stones in the avocados here- and I can't help but feel that the flavor must be better here. At the very least the cost here is outstanding (I think it varies between R$2-5 depending on the day and the vendor). I'm just glad I came here liking avocados, because I will leave here loving them.
