New .......

 ......... beginnings ..... and the signs of Spring and Summer - yay!

Full frame is greener and softly sharper!!

We have a number of lilac trees in the front garden (put there 15 or so years ago) and because they are planted in very poor, shallow soil, they have never reached more than six feet high - they look almost dead over the winter but never fail to throw out soft, pale green buds followed by beautifully perfumed purple flowers - this is one of the buds.  It won't be long before it breaks open, I'm sure.

Photo taken with a 50mm prime lens with the addition of a +4 magnifying screw-on filter-style lens  (a much cheaper option than a macro lens and the effect is pretty good in my opinion).

A "mission" leaving at midnight tonight and should be home (after a lot of miles and a couple of flights) tomorrow evening.  Blipping will be late.

Warning of the Day

DO NOT wash your hair with shampoo in the shower!
Many people use shampoo in the shower however, when doing so, the shampoo obviously runs down your body.
Printed clearly on the shampoo bottle label:
"FOR EXTRA BODY AND VOLUME"
No wonder people gain weight.

You should be using dish washing liquid.
The label on that reads:
"DISSOLVES FAT THAT IS OTHERWISE DIFFICULT TO REMOVE!"

Problem solved.  Please note that if I don't answer any of your calls or texts I will be in the shower!!!!!
