Village walk

Had a new carpet fitted in one of the bedrooms this morning so had to wait in while that was done. This afternoon we did the usual 'village circular' walk which is mainly across fields and farm paths. We saw lots of butterflies and quite a few bees, and lots of trees, including this horse chestnut, coming into bud. After underestimating the sun yesterday and ending up a bit of a redhead, I made sure I had a bit of sunscreen on today!
