Lych Gate

Had a busy day today sorting out all those things that needed sorting out, so I only left the house to catch the 4.00 post. The lych gate at the village church is on the way to the post box; the church is 12th century but I don't suppose the gate is anywhere near that, although it is undoubtedly old. I quite like the view through the gate and down the avenue of yew trees to the church door.
