But, then again . . . . .

Waterfall.

Having delivered Mrs TD to (yet another) patchwork meeting and had a quick coffee and a Danish at a nearby Morrisons (they didn't do scones) I took Merlin for a walk. He is just about back to normal now, but we're still going easy on the walks. I had been instructed to take him to Colinton but decided that the woods on Penicuik Estate would be more suitable; he behaves a little better when he doesn't know where he is, I think he's scared of getting lost and being left behind. His normal response to walking with only one person is to lie down and refuse to move; he was still in that frame of mind until we left the path and went into the trees.

This small waterfall is about a hundred yards upstream of the Knights Law Bridge across the Silver Burn. The intention had been to photograph the bridge itself, but there isn't a decent view of it from here, maybe on the other side.
