A morning going nowhere

Spent the morning at Stansted airport. That wasn't the intention. Our flight to Majorca was supposed to take off at 9 a.m. but industrial action by French air traffic controllers decreed otherwise. So the hours ticked past and we eventually departed at 1.20 p.m.

The long delay faded quickly when we landed in Palma in beautiful weather. Then we spent what remained of the afternoon driving and photographing the updated Ford C-Max, with time in the new S-Max scheduled for tomorrow.

This beautiful traditional Majorcan windmill is in the grounds of our hotel, parts of which date back to the 14th century. We fly home again tomorrow afternoon - striking French air traffic controllers permitting!
