If you can't beat them...

Derwentwater Panorama.

We decided to go out as soon as we got up as it was a beautiful day and looked good for photography.  For a change we decided to have a look at Derwentwater, so headed up the lake to Kettlewell car park.

We arrived to find one car and a man from the National Trust.  Having dutifully produced our membership cards and avoided the parking charge we got out the tripods.  The lake was calm even the ducks were still dozing at the edge of the water.   Soon the car park began to fill up.  It seemed everybody had a photographic device of some kind P&S cameras, Phones, tablets and another photographer with a tripod.

The photographer set up beside us just as a man brought his canoe and set it down by the waters edge.  I decided the water would soon be covered in ripples and packed up.  Clickychick and the other guy took some nice shots with the canoe at the edge of the lake.  Obviously I should have paiid more attention to what was going on.
