If you can't beat them...

Lesser Celandine (Ranunculus ficaria)

I have been crawling round the garden on my hands and knees again! It was one of those days when you were never quite sure if it was going to be wet or dry for the next few minutes, Sun in - sun out -washing out washing - in!

So I ended up busy one way and another and resorted to garden blips. Celandines have always been a favourite of mine right back into childhood. This was probably because they were such a splash of colour in the spring hedgerows even before the leaves were out.

My other choices were Daisy, buds on the Sorbus, Ompholoides (wild plant is called Blue Eyed Mary but this is a cultivar, and a plant I don't know but must look up.
