Stoneybeck Inn

I have blipped this before when I have been there for meetings.  Today was different we were meeting an friend (ex-colleague) who moved away from the are 15 years ago.  We meet every few years when our paths cross.

The venue was particularly interesting as back in the days when we worked together the department would pop out of town to this pub for bacon butties and usually a pint of coke on Friday lunch times.  He left and I retired but 30 years on the department still goes there for bacon butties at lunch time on a Friday!

The rest of the day was a little gardening and shopping preceded by a lie in - and it isn't even Sunday.
