The Bow of Fortuna II

9.9C starting cloudy then breaking to give sunny spells. Showers through afternoon, at least one of hail. Wind to 29 mph with gusts to 40 mph.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went through to Arbroath before 9am and had our walk round the harbour. We got to Arbroath before the clouds broke so no sunshine to work with. The tide was going out but the lock gate to the inner harbour was open today, so no loop walk. We walked round to the boatyard and then came back and went up by the lifeboat station. No boats on the boatyard slipway today, so I have a looking down shot of the bow of Fortuna II.

Before lunch we went out for a two mile walk. Down the road to the shore road, but not down to the beach today then back home in a loop. We were back in time to have lunch while watching the F1 qualifying on telly, and then the highlights from yesterday's Masters Golf. The third round of the Masters is on telly tonight.
