Goldfinch

At last I've managed to blip the Goldfinch; they've been visiting on a regular basis but their pattern is different to other birds.  Instead of flying in and checking everything thing out as do many of our visitors, the Goldfinch arrive in a very leisurely manner, eat slowly and stay put longer  -  giving the impression of being very calm and laid back.  This only happens a couple of times during the day, and then they disappear, we know not where.

I'm finding myself watching them more and more  -  its so much more interesting than TV.
