Under an Aqua Sky

Today there is little going on. I'm looking up from my recumbent position on the patio ;-) and thanks to Hobbs for hosting this Wide Angle Wednesday.

In the retirement home the codgers sit and while away their days, their chores being done. Grass, mown. Chickens, fed. Letters, written and sent. Ah, me. What a terrible life this is... [slightly incredulous giggle]

The growing habit of mid afternoon beer o'clock has been noted, and demoted to Adam's Ale only. And today, it's really needful. Hot? I think it may be.

(The mat my glass is sat upon was rescued from a skip after a house clearance. I think it may have been the top of an old paraffin heater. Makes for a fine teapot stand now.)
