Snap! Crackle! Pop!

Marla, this Mexican Blue Jay  (actually can't tell the difference in gender) may be the little sis of Marco who was posted a while back.

I have something very interesting in common with Marla and Marco , as well as, their entire extended family.  Mexican Jays, it seems, almost never move away from their immediate breeding territory.  They are one of the most sedentary bird species in North America. Just like me!

I kind of have that blue tint to me, too.  I think it makes me look distinguished!
