The gate in the wall.

The day started with a trip to the Lodge to just make sure everything was "shipshape and Bristol fashion" ready for the next guests to arrive.

Then Clickychick wanted to go to to a parking place not far from where we were yesterday as there was a shot she thought would work.  When two of you are taking photos at the same place it is difficult to make your blips different.  So instead of turning towards the Lake I turned towards the hills.

Beside the parking place was a wood so I wandered a path.  The wood will be worth visiting again in a few weeks as it will be a carpet of Bluebells.  At the top of the path this gate lead out on to the open fell.  I set off to straighted the shot until I proved that the gate posts are perpendicular and everything else is at an angle!

We rounded the day off with a trip up Martindale Hause and a fe shots from up there as well.
