Ramblings and Mutterings

Long Quality Day

A ridiculous o’clock start to catch the 5:10am train to London Paddington, for a Conference about Leadership in the Quality profession.  It was a beautiful day up in London and the conference wasn’t too bad.  I thought the first and last speakers were the best though, first up was James Woudhuysen who talked about forecasting, he was full of energy, slightly controversial, very entertaining but very insightful.  Last up was Mark Gallagher from Formula One who talked about innovation and continuous improvement in F1, a typical Irishman who had the audience eating out of his hand, it was a fascinating talk.

But today’s blip is another Shaun the Sheep from the Shaun in the City trail in London.  This one is Lambmark Larry at Paddington Station, designed by Jenny Urquhart.  I already ticked this one off on Saturday when I was up, but the photo I took was rubbish.  Not entirely sure what old Isambard Kingdom Brunel would make of it though?  Incidentally there is a Brunel Shaun out near Tate Modern, you would have thought they’d have him at Paddington right next to the real one.  Missed opportunity me thinks.
After an early start and not arriving home until gone nine, I'm shattered.
