Lift in!

And a fine day for it, though at the back of 7am there was quite a bit of cloud about. The only problem was the tide - yes, indeed - very springy indeed. And as I was getting dropped in not long after low water, it was a long drop and then a very shallow motor round to the pontoon. So shallow we briefly ran aground. But by midday the lift was well on schedule, the sky was blue, and I began to consider making an escape with my crewmate, MrW....
So, it was up to the Jolly Botanist for a swifty and jees, did I foretell that the wee team would bottle it before too long? Doh! Anyway, Tynecastle was bathed in light. And bonhomie. Or was that just the pre-match pint? And the company. And there was even a pie. What a cracker of a day.
