The Summit

Clouds are gathering, but for the moment the summit of Little Mount Peel is still visible...

Tonight we're due to get hammered with Nor'West rain as it spills over the ranges. We've been told to expect 100mm overnight. I've got a feeling the ford may well be scoured out come morning....

This shot of the summit is with a 400mm f/5.6 Tokina lens, attached the the X-T1 with a pentax mount adapter. Focus is entirely manual (and a bit tricky) but it's great to be able to make out the trig and the Tristan Harper shelter, just below the peak.
