Waiting for the Bride....

The big day at last for a couple of friends with their marriage at St Andrew's chapel at Rangi Ruru school here in Christchurch.

It's a gorgeous church, with lots of sumptuous wood panelling as well as lovely stained glass. The ceremony was lovely too, a fitting mix of the formal necessities with the relaxed manner to match the bride and groom. Just lovely...

I captured this as we awaited the bride's arrival, shortly before we entered the 'No Photos Please' zone and left it to the professionals. This is a back-blip, as I had to make sure I had the blessing of the bride and groom before publishing.
