Lake edge

Surprisingly today dawned without a breathe of wind. Even more surprisingly the day remained still.

A couple of us headed back over to Lake Sheppard for a spot of fly fishing. So very different to yesterday's windy conditions. The drizzle came and went, birds called, fish broke the surface and two of us quietly fished.

With an eye on the time we walked back to Lake Taylor. I spent another hour fishing my way down the side of the lake just outside the shearers quarters where we stayed.

Gentle rain set in but the wind stayed away.

Now I'm home and quickly back to earth as I change gear to start a new working week tomorrow.
