Camellia Sasanqua......

......In honour of the Autumn Sun.
In the ancient garden world of Japan and China, gardeners and naturalists used to know exactly when true Autumn had arrived for that was the day the first Sasanqua Camellias burst into bloom.

Since severely pruning our trees last spring, this large white semi-double camellia is full of flowers, attracting monarch butterflies and honey bees but not today as its been cold and overcast after a significant amount of good steady rain last night - at long last!

A day of waiting, waiting and more waiting as I purchased a new mobile phone, quite exciting but pleased I put most of the day aside as you never know how long these things take.

Easy and lazy tea tonight, some sort of takeaways I think.

Happy Tuesday everyone :)
