Bye Bye old sofa.

Usual trip to Morrisons this morning for the big weekly shop.  Seem to have been busy since I got back home - just little things which took a lot of time but not much to show for it.

Weather has been very cold again but sunny.  Cats have been outside but I didn't leave the patio door open - they weren't too pleased about that.

I had asked Neil to come here after work so he could help me take the sofa outside to leave on the drive to await the Council who will take it away tomorrow.  ( If you remember Tino had ruined it by weeing on it.)  My daughter Becky's  old single bed  -  which has only been used a few times since she left home in 2002  -  is due to be to be taken as well so Neil moved that outside too.  He mostly did it all on his own - he certainly had the knack of getting the stuff through doorways and down the stairs. He was actually "trained" in house removals when he was In Australia. One of the many jobs he had while he was out there.
