Wilhelmstraßefest

I'm pretty sure I blipped a couple of glasses of Sekt at this last year. Wilhelmstraße is a great big wide street here and it's usually choc-a-bloc with traffic but for one weekend they close it down, cover it in bars, take-away food stalls (anyone for a half metre sausage in a bun?), and stages for music. There's all sorts going on and it was quite good fun.

As you can see, it's quite popular. Apparently it can get a bit rowdy in the evening but I think that will always happen when you mix too much alcohol and sunshine.

Oh and a word to the man who grabbed his 10 (or 11) year old son by the lapels and shouted right into his face; that's not parenting, that's bullying. Arsehole.
