Apple blossom time

So here's the thing: I seem to have bought another new lens.

Really, I'm as bemused as you - I just don't know how it happened.

But anyway, there's a knock on the door this afternoon, and the Parcelforce guy is standing there (in shorts, as per) with a huge parcel, and inside it there's a lens.

Well, it would have been silly not to at least try it, wouldn't it?

And all the apple trees are in blossom now, which is nice.

Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM, since you asked. Quite heavy, and not stabilised, but fast and sharp. I think I might keep it, as it's here...
