PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE.....

.....especially when there are extensive road works that seem to take forever!

We are having an unexpected break in Boscombe - and it really will be the last time - but decided that we would try our normal route in to see if the road works had been completed.

We sat in a traffic jam for 10 minutes, and although Mr. HCB is very patient normally, he decided to whizz round the island,  go back the way we came and then down to the beach another way.

However, this dumper truck got there before us and we watched in amusement as the driver turned off the engine and then folded his arms to wait patiently.  He had left just enough room for us to go through though - so Mr. HCB was happy.  Just as we got round the island, another truck came and sat by the side of him - dual patience!

It's very grey and chilly here at the moment, and the weather doesn't look promising for the weekend, but hopefully, the sea air will do me us good - it will certainly be a break for me, as Mr. HCB has agreed that because we are only here for 4 days, we can go out for all our meals - so I'm happy too.  It doesn't take much.

Just see the open top bus go past up the hill - there was no-one on the top deck - I wonder why?

“A waiting person
is a patient person.
The word patience means
the willingness to stay
where we are
and live the situation
out to the full
in the belief that
something hidden there
will manifest itself to us.”
