Took K2 to Warminster station to get the train back to London, it's been a great unbirthday week for me. We have another day to enjoy the forest.  Sample the pancakes for lunch before taking a last walk around the lake, enjoying the late afternoon sunshine and warmth, watching the occasional whooping 40-something steam past on the zip wire across the lake.  Then important stuff intervenes, K wants ice-cream and they only do lollies at the lakeside.  Head off to the Sports Hall and successfully track down proper ice-cream.  Sit watching the world go by, memories of when we brought K2 and S here maybe 10 years ago.
Back to the villa, manage to finish reading Caitlin Morans book, How to Build a Girl., before pizza take-away arrives to finish our day - K celebrates final evening with a luxurious soak in the bath, air jets providing a mass of bubbles.
