Babysitting

This weekend I babysat for some of our friends at church.  They have two kids, a boy and a girl.  I got to their house in the late afternoon and stayed for seven hours.  We played soccer in the basement for a while and then we played with some Legos.  After playing for a while we started to get hungry so we went upstairs to see what we could make for supper.  Gavin had a turkey and cheese sandwich and Adelle wanted scrambled eggs.  As we were making supper we played some music and danced around the kitchen for a while.  After we were done eating, I got a text from my friend Reagan saying they she was babysitting Gavin and Adelle’s cousins across the street and we should come over to play.  The kids got on their bikes and we rode over to their cousin’s house.  When we got there we played outside for a while.  We played softball for a while, but after a while it just turned into “tackle the babysitters.” This is a picture of all of us when we were outside.   We went inside after it got dark and watched a movie.  We had a really fun time, and I hope the kids did too!
