Maymacromayhem

A quick safari hunt in the garden this morning found me this little cricket for Walking Wombats macro challenge.  It was rather shy.  When loading I noticed the ant.  It's funny what you miss when you are taking the shot.  Not sure what the name of the plant it is sitting on, my mum calls it something like cottage buttons and this has self seeded.  It reminds me a bit of a thistle but it is quite tiny.  The flowers are about the size of a large thumbnail.
