Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee

Today, the Queen's pageant takes place on the River Thames in London. Seeing as this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see/watch I thought I would do my best and capture some pictures from my television to add to my blip journal.

I'm sitting with my gran watching on BBC 1. She remembers the day the Queen was crowned in 1952, she was 18.

Luthermuir Village Improvement Group, set up by Helen who is sadly no longer with us, have done their bit to mark the celebrations by decorating the village flower boxes. I thought this was a really nice touch. Seen in the picture on the left.
