Illumination!

Glorious morning for a walk. Heading up through the woods on to Harden Moor there were great blue skies all around and some lovely fresh greens both on the new leaves, on the  Mountain Ash/Rowan trees, and in the underlying Blilberry bushes.

We passed new calves in the field along the way (see Corinthian Column) and spotted deer on the open moor which is quite unusual ( see Wilsden Walker).

Returning to the woods we commented that there were no Bluebells here unlike in the St Ives Estate woods just across Keighley Road.

This little bit is where the path divides, climbing over the rocks towards the main road or heading down to Moor Edge just above the village. What caught my eye was the light coming through these leaves illuminating them from behind. In a few months we will be admiring the berries on these trees!

Rain is forecast this afternoon. Hope it goes for the weekend.
Enjoy yours whatever your doing.
