Number 46..........

We thought it might be a good idea to get out into the fresh air this afternoon, not for a walk in a park, or even along the beach, no we thought it would be a great idea to walk a section of The South Downs Way.
We chose to walk from The Queen Elizabeth Country Park to Old Winchester Hill.
Should be a nice afternoon stroll....... to say the route was undulating would be an understatement, I suppose the clue was in the name South Downs.
I'm not looking forward to getting out of bed in the morning, I'm going to be aching.
Lamb number 46 was one of many lambs we passed on our journey, he and his mum were on top of Salt Hill, which is about 3/4 of a mile from Old Winchester Hill. From Salt Hill looking East Butser Hill and its Radio Masts are easily seen, while looking West Winchester Hill isn't too far away.
Despite the brisk Easterly wind it was very warm in the sunshine.
A beautiful and invigorating afternoon.
