Enjoying the sun

After a very busy few weeks, I took the opportunity of a warm sunny day to get outside and start on some of the long overdue gardening.  I was busy trimming and cutting back, when I looked over the fence next door and spotted this fox, sitting in a sunny spot, quite unperturbed by my presence and activities.  I had plenty of time to go and fetch my camera and take a few shots before an insect buzzing around his/her head annoyed him/her and he/she got up and walked away.

Looking closely, the eyes don't look too healthy.  If it were your pet, you'd be off to the vet to have them looked at.
