Distant Gold

Two friends and I took a walk in the Wither Hills Farm Park early this morning. One is a photographer friend visiting from Christchurch. We enjoyed capturing images of the vineyards in their autumn colours on the plains. There the vines are still hanging onto their autumn gowns of gold. Another bout of nor-west winds and the vines will will be slowly disrobing to their winter nakedness.
