Raindrops on Roses

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens.... Yes these are a few of my favourite things. And there have been many many raindrops in parts of the country today. Although the raindrops look very pretty on my Burgundy Iceberg rose seen here the same cannot be said of the overdose of raindrops causing flooding and mayhem to travel across Cook Strait in the lower North Island. Our thoughts are with those folk adversely affected by the horrendous weather in their areas. Kia kaha.
