Hyacinth Afloat

Today was grey and the lighting flat. Landscape photography was out of the question when the dogs and I were out on our early walk. What to do? What to photograph? What to blip? A visit to the supermarket after our walk provided the solution. I talked with the young woman working in the small florist shop in the supermarket. She kindly allowed me to photograph some flowers. This image shows a fragrant pink hyacinth flower floating in a glass container. It was creative and despite the flowers being under water, fragrant…. And very blippable!
