Protea

I have always loved Proteas and had the good fortune to visit a wonderful Botanical Garden in Cape Town in the late 70's where they had just about every Protea growing there under the sun.

This is my first macro for week 3 of the maymacromayhem challenge.  Guest Judge for the week Newcastle Downunder and I have been pouring over last weeks blips and tomorrow by the time we both post our blips tomorrow we will have the picks of the week!!
