An Old Airman's Life

Blocks and miles apart

Walked past the bed of a homeless man I have noticed this week.  It is the extra photo today.  The street is well lit, but his bed is tucked  back in an overhang on the front of the community college administration building.  It has been raining a lot.  So where he is at, he is dry; and it is warm; and he has a power outlet to play his radio.  Not sure, but probably the bag of food was a gift from someone else who noticed him.

Four blocks north and one block east sits 777 Main.  It is a high rise that houses one of the most upscale restaurants in downtown as well as a bank on the first floor and architectural firms.  Not sure how to narrow this gap.  Don't think it ever can be erased.  At least, not on this side of the grave.
