A Day Worth Recording

Day two of the Really Big Board Game Day sessions.  OK, so 'day two' doesn't make sense but many groups shifted their session from the official Friday to the rather more convenient Saturday. I went over to join in with the group meeting in Hereford this evening.

Managed not to win any of the Special Delivery games I'd donated to the raffle!

Played a couple of light games I'd not met before - this one is Jamaica where I came not quite last.  Some interesting game mechanisms, but a bit luck heavy (which was fine for this occasion).

The morning was spent punching exploratory holes in a wall.  Found nothing behind one wall - as in a space closed off for no readily apparent reason - not even any bodies in there.  Found insulation behind another - which makes even less sense as it's an internal space.

Frustratingly, this means we still don't exactly know the path of the drainpipe that might be leaking.

The afternoon was spent training Cupcake in use of the chainsaw, with a view to simple carvings in the future.

Have lots of cut firewood now.
